Listen to Our Music

"Farms For Sale"
Released July 2006

This project is 100% Foxtail - once again, recorded live off the floor at Dansanman Studios in London. We DID bend to modern technology just a whit - we permitted the use of multiple recording microphones and managed to achieve better separation of instruments and voices, with a little more flexibility during mixing and mastering.

Stiil, what you see (or hear) is what you get - no other musicians or instruments were imported to make us sound different than what we are.

We hope you will be as pleased with the result (and the songs) as we are.

The material has been adroitly selected to appeal to fans with the most eclectic taste and the musicianship, throughout, is masterful. Here's what some early reviewers have said about Foxtail and the CD:
"beautiful ,timeless-sounding recording"
"the material is all pure, high and lonesome"
- James Reaney, London Free Press  Nov 21, 2002

"your arrangements and performance style show the magic that can happen when everyone in the group listens and works together to make the group sound good. Your band had the sort of chemistry that drew me in and made me feel part of the performance."
- Raymond W. McLain - after seeing Foxtail perform at the  IBMA October 2002 World of Bluegrass Fanfest Festival in Louisville, Kentucky.

"Best wishes for this recording and God bless your efforts."
 - Jeff Weaver, The Rarely Herd
